ZeroWork comes with a lightweight desktop agent that you need to install after signing up. We do not currently offer a Chrome extension. The desktop agent is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
The desktop agent runs in the background and is only required to run the TaskBots. The TaskBot building process itself takes place in your browser at https://creator.zerowork.io.

Yes, the desktop agent processes data on your computer. The only data we store in our system are your account details, TaskBot set-up, and data used in native tables (using native tables is optional). We also store your logs and error logs for a period of 14 days.

No, TaskBots run locally on your computer. Therefore, no VPN or proxy is needed.
That said, if necessary, you can add your proxy to the TaskBot run settings, as described here.
